Ninth takes its name from the founders’ birth month, September. A season of harvest and renewal, both in the UK and across coffee-growing regions, it reflects how they think about coffee.

Founded in late 2022 by Arron and Callum, the roastery grew from their shared enthusiasm for specialty coffee. Arron spent over three years in the service industry before discovering a passion for roasting in 2020, starting at home and later roasting professionally.

Ninth works with trusted UK importers and producers to source coffees that stand out for quality and character. Each batch is roasted in small volumes to highlight the distinct flavours of its origin and variety.
