Santa Lucia comes from the Alto El Vapor farm, a family-run project in Santa María de Dota founded in 2020 by Mayra Solis and her children. Their approach combines traditional coffee cultivation with sustainable practices, including intercropping with bananas, citrus, and vegetables, while preserving 90% of the farm as a natural conservation area.
For years, the family’s coffee won awards under other names. With Bean Voyage, who support smallholder women farmers with training and market access, they took it back and exported on their own for the first time.
This natural Red Catuai reflects the family’s care and dedication, with notes of brown sugar, chocolate, and plum jam.
